Ceramic woods

Oak, mahogany, durmast, birch. Ceramic tiles preserve their versatility to put weft and colours of the wood on: perfect compromise between luxury and nature.

The modality of matching the elements defines the structure of the surface and it enables to obtain various effects. The choice of the essence and of the laying is important: types, shades and sizes must be selected on the grounds of the constructive features, the size of the spaces and the style of the house.

For example, for classic, period and very large-sized and well-lighted houses, dark woods tones are preferable; light woods shades are suggested for modern houses, bad-lighted and small-sized rooms. For houses in the country and country cottages, the ideal thing would be to prefer the shades of the local woods.

The choice of a light essence formed by elements of different sizes creates the optical illusion that the space is larger than in fact. To enjoy the draw of the wood, in small-sized interiors it would be better to chose the smaller size; instead, if the floor will be formed by elements of the same size and the skirting board will take up its shade, a large-sized room shows itself as a cosy little one.

Both on floors and walls, these solutions become part of the environment in which we’d like to combine elegance with a new concept of naturalness.
