Indoor Tiles

Public areas are always impacted by high traffic flows, so floor tiles should have excellent abrasion resistance. Though wear is definitely less intensive on house flooring, the materials used to cover indoor floors should be equally chosen with care. The tiles covering ground floors will suffer more damages due to wear abrasion than the ones covering the upper floors, especially if they lead directly to open-air courtyards. It is recommended, though not essential, to leave a few millimetres of space between one tile and another to prevent possible defects in sizes and favour the floor’s flexibility.
