Cotto
Tiles made from natural clay that are dried and then fired at a temperature of above 1000°C and, depending on their origin, can be of different colours and shades. Processing may be hand-made or machine-made (extruded cotto tiles). After installation, unglazed tiles are treated with special soaked substances.
