Shade
It refers to the colour shade of the tiles; it is generally expressed in letters/numbers on the packaging.
Be sure to check this information at receipt as the shade can vary from one batch to another.
Shaded tiles
Tiles which surface does not show a homogeneous colour.
Size
It refers to the tile’s shape and dimension.
The tile’s size is usually either square or rectangular and is defined by measuring the two sides (eg. 20x20, 20x30, 40x40..).
Step-nose tiles
Special tiles that can be either flat or shaped used to cover the steps of a stairway; their surface can be smooth or with anti-slip strips.
