The Planning.
One of Tagina's elements of high distinction, in the panorama of ceramic sector companies, is the presence of an internal research laboratory with a team of technicians, chemists and painters constantly busy in the planning, research and testing of new ceramic projects. The production process combines the artisan skill with the entrepreneurial spirit and the industrial organization to obtain a product with a high technological content, realized with a keen artisan hand to create an exclusive result with a high technical-artistic level.

Decoration.
There are works that still today are aimed at telling us the genius of past times and the art of an ancient land. In the decoration richness of Tagina collections rivives the echo of this tradition. Laboratory.
Technology and tradition are merged in Tagina's laboratory. Its an advanced company school and also the center of an ancient workshop, where they experiment in new forms the ancient techniques of ceramic manufacturing. Innovative technological processes for the development of mixtures in glazed porcelain coexist with the able use of traditional clays and with the ancient casting ceramic technique. The employment of the most modern rotative serigraphy leaves space for the application of glaze in the difficult performance of brush and spray glazing. The continuous stylistic research creates elaborated applications in the first and third firing with bright and complicated flash effects, both resistant to the slow cycles of muffle firing and to the heavy test of the industrial ceramic kilns. Creativity and competence, the costant reasearch in material quality and in the manufactoring and an authentic passion for beauty are the heart of Tagina's innovation.

Technological Tower.
The production activity is distribuited on three factories provided with the best and most updated technologies, allowing the customer to choose among a wide range of products, surfaces, sizes and different colours in glazed porcelain, with remarkable technical characteristics and performances. In the last production plant, a significant growth in reseach investiments and technology innovation has made possible the opening of technological towers for the high tonnage press feeding. The press feeders and the vertical proportioning system allows the mixing and the granulation of the clays and the colouring of dry dusts for the production in multiple fidings and through-mass tiles. The optimal combination of the rich company know-how with the sophisticated last generation plants brings the production process to a level of efficiency expressed by the high quality of Tagina's product.

Ceramic casting, special pieces.
In the very ancient shaping and casting technique, the idea takes shape with the care and technical ability of an expert artisan. From the first model roughcasted with art, with a laborious and patient process, we obtain a shaped plaster mould. That model reaches a particular artistic value, by which Tagina's collections gallery is rich. The "barbottina" or casting slip with fluid clays is casted in inside the mould, which inner walls absorb the water and allows the clay to stratify. After some hours,emptied the residues, the mould finally returns back the formed object. The careful use of the sponge finish completes the relief handmade. With the care requested to realize a piece of work destinated to be timeless, are moulded the most complicated special pieces and incomparable relief decoration, that confers to Tagina's decors a unique value in the panorama of industrial ceramics.
